Bed & Breakfast Guesthouse Accommodation

  Monticello Countryhouse offers exclusive accommodation for two couples with an additional separate room suitable for a single person. The Gatekeepers Cottage offers exclusive self contained accommodation for up to six people (3 couples).

Facilities

   Continental or traditional cooked breakfast included.  Tea room is stocked with exclusive Monticello coffee, leaf teas, home-made biscuits and fresh fruit.  Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine on arrival.

Rooms

Double Room
   Enjoy this room with its antique brass bed and lie cushioned on a wool underlay with crisp antique and exclusive linens and feather doona for the winter.   The ensuite bathroom with its beatiful antique washstand has a "his and hers" shower and there are plenty of towels to luxuriate in. A hairdryer is provided along with Monticello soaps and shampoo.  This room opens onto the verandah with expansive valley views. The room has reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning.

King/Twin Room
   This room has two French sleigh beds, king single in size.  Again, there are beautiful linens to luxuriate in and bathrobes are provided.  For the winter there are doonas and mohair blankets.  The bathroom is literally just outside your door and has a large bath and a separate shower. Again, the usual Monticello luxuries are provided.  This room also opens onto the verandah with beautiful valley views. The room has reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning.

Gatekeepers Cottage

  The Gatekeepers Cottage is a new addition to Monticello's accommodation. It is a beautifully appointed two bedroom, two bathroom cottage with a state-of-the art kitchen with everything for the serious cook, even a herb garden. There is also a separate laundry. The lounge is perfect for that relaxed evening in front of the fire with a good movie or or a dvd/cd from Monticello's eclectic library. You can bring your own music library and listen through the MP3 player adaptor. Wireless internet is also available.

   The cottage can accommodate up to six people. The queen room downstairs with a deep window seat overlooking the garden has a bathroom suitable for disabled access. There is a double sofa bed in a separate sitting room. Upstairs, there is King/twin room, made up of two king single beds. With beautiful rural and garden views from the deck this is truly a romantic room with luxuriously appointed bathroom with a bath for two.

   A gourmet breakfast basket is supplied for the first day.
